Purr: Cozy Cat Home · Effective 24 September 2026 · Busy Ninja, Spain

The short version, for families. Purr never asks for your name, email, birthday or location. The game works with an anonymous account created on your device. Children play with no ads, no personal data and no free-text messages. You can delete everything from inside the game at any time.

1. Who we are

Purr: Cozy Cat Home ("Purr", "the game") is made by Busy Ninja, based in Spain ("we"). We are the data controller for the data described here. Contact: hello@purrgame.com.

3. Children

Purr is enjoyed by children and adults. At first launch the game shows a neutral age screen and keeps only an age group. Players under 16 in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and under 13 elsewhere, get the child mode automatically:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.

4. Purchases and money

Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle payment. Prices are fixed and shown in full before you confirm; nothing that costs money is random. A grown-up can turn purchases off, require approval for each one, or set a monthly limit in Parental Controls; the limit is enforced on our servers. Refunds follow the store's policies.

5. Friends and social features

Friends are added with a code you share. Other players can see your curated display name, your friend code, your cats and your home. They cannot send you free text. You can block and report any player from the game.

6. Notifications

Reminders are optional and off until you turn them on. They are scheduled on your device, at most one a day and never during quiet hours. We do not send remote push notifications at this time.

7. Where your data is stored and who helps us

Game data is stored on servers in the European Union operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). We use a few service providers, each bound by their own privacy commitments and receiving only what is listed above:

We do not sell data and we do not share it for advertising.

8. Legal basis (GDPR)

We process game data to provide the game you asked for (contract), crash reports and statistics in our legitimate interest to keep the game working and improve it, and purchase records to meet our legal and store obligations. Reminders run only with your consent.

9. How long we keep data

Your game data is kept while your account is in use. Accounts not opened for 24 months are deleted, together with their data. Crash reports are kept for 90 days and statistics for 12 months. Purchase records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

10. Deleting your data and your rights

Open Settings in the game and choose "Delete all data": this removes your account and everything in it from our servers and your device. You can also write to hello@purrgame.com to access, correct or delete your data, to object to processing or to receive a copy. If you are in the EU you can complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the AEPD (aepd.es).

11. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the game will tell you at launch. The effective date at the top shows the current version.
